Solo traveler getaway that hits the mark
Had myself a lovely cozy double room upgrade, thankyou. Breakfast was also fresh and warm, got extra bacon, can't complain about that.
While it wasn't exactly a bargain, it was still within reason for what I experienced.

The room was quite cozy, but we encountered challenges with the shower's temperature control, which left my husband with burns. However, the outdoor seating area was a lovely retreat for relaxation.

A very pleasant stay in the hotel's new wing, which suited us well.
Being elderly, we found it a little further out of the hub than we would have liked.

Very central location just a few minutes walk from main attractions of York yet set in quiet spot with small swimming pool, sauna gym and beauty treatments available. Free parking too! Lovely breakfast and good reasonably priced dinner.Would recommend.Nice bar...

Location
Hotel was quite average, nothing to recommend to your friends. Moreover stuff in a reception was very bossy and rude so you could even feel that you are not really welcome there. I do not wish anyone to have such unpleasant times while holidays.
